Adding a network printer on Debian

    Hi,


    Having some problems adding a printer on Debian Etch. Ive tired using the CUPS web interface but its not working .
    Is there any other utilities that do the same job?

    To be honest: no idea :p

    It's pretty easy in KDE and Gnome though, are you using a desktop environment?

    Ya using gnome. The printers are all on a domain so that probaly part of the problem. Ill keep messing around with it.

    Ah, I thought you meant accessing it directly. If you can connect to it by IP, you probably don't need to worry about domain authentication for it - try just adding it as a standard network printer, using the IP (and TCP 9100)
