    Hi Folks,

I was wondering if anyone here could point in the direction of a some sources on information regarding the BSD Licensing issues.

Basically what I want to know is if there is any protection or do I have any rights to the code that produce if its based on or works with a piece of open source software that is licensed under BSD license.

    Dave

I was always under the impression that there was more freedom with BSD licences and that they were more lax than the GPL, as in 'take my code and do whatever with it; I don't care'.

You've probably already read the wikipedia entry.

Is this any specific BSD license or just the original one?

Cheers for the feedback guys, I think its just a plain BSD License but I will need to double check.
