The agm for this league is on 26th sept. in monkstown community centre at 8.30.Anybody looking to enter a team into this league should be down there for this meeting.Any existing members with any ideas ( or complaints ) for the coming season, this is the time to say it.

I missed it this year.

Was there any changes ? And when is the league starting ?

The league is starting 22nd (mon)23rd(tues)24th(wed/ladies)oct.
The singles/doubles will be on in january 08 instead of the end of the league.Hopefully this will mean a better chance of everybody who puts their name down will actually turn up and lessens the chance of somebody getting to the final of their board without playing anybody.Thats the main changes.
If any league goes to a play-off,the cup format will apply if it gets to 4-4 rather than 1001 all in.
Is it your team playing us in a friendly this monday?

Yeah, I'm not sure if I can make it yet but everyone else is ok for it.

The League starts this coming week. Darts.ie doesn't seem to be up and running just yet for the new season.........not sure what the Monday night fixtures are but here are the Tuesday night fixtures:

Igo vs Furrybog
Horse & Hound vs Clancys Bar
Silver Tassie vs Balally
Farmhouse vs TEK
McKennas vs Enniskerry Inn
Kozie vs Robbins
Magic Carpet vs Ivory Bar

Seems that TEK and Furrybog are gone and now Farmhouse have 2 teams and Lough Inn have a team also.

I played my first league match on tuesday night........couldn't believe it......felt grand before and as soon as they say game on i went to throw my first dart and my hand was going all over the place.......:-0 done well me 1st leg but missed 4 darts at a double and played bad the 2nd leg.........was good to get the 1st match out of the way but couldn't believe i'd get that nervous........but for some strange reason even though i lost it was really enjoyable and cant wait for the next game.

Do you still get that???

yeah still with the tassie.
very nervous myself the first season.it eases off after awhile.I still get nervous these days just not as much,though you wouldn't guess it after monday night got very tense and threw like it was my first time. needless to say i was well beaten.
who are you throwing with?

Am throwing with the Farmhouse Tuesday red team........we lost 6-2 againist the other farmhouse team. We have a good few 1st timers on the team so will be a tough year but it will be great to get a bit of experience.

Yeah i heard the monday team were unlucky.........they haven't a bad side but an awful pity only 7 turned up.

How did ur tuesday team get on againist Balally?

Howyas lads new to this. Playin for the lough mon team this year and were expectin a good season jus in case yas havent heard we won our 2nd match on monday against the gallops 5-3:)

hi lads,

just letting you all know that the darts exhibition with gary anderson and gary robson is now taking place in the sallynoggin inn on tuesday 4th december at 8pm.

dave tansey has all the details and i'm dropping him out tickets this evening to the lough inn.

hopefully it will be a full night and the lads will play about 20 legs against the public as well as 2 challenge matches.

the night is for a good cause so lets get as many going as possible

yeah mbc with the blue team was wit the ivory last yr but they disbanded so it was the nearest to me so thats why im der plus they have a good team which helps!

Cheers for those DFD. We played Horse and Hound away on Tues. We lost 5-3......we are getting better each week.......although another toughie this week against the igo. Our other Farm team beat Robbins 6-2.
