1 x Pioneer DJM 600
1 x Sony stereo with 2 x 100W speakers

nice setup. I'm new (and late) to mixing, I've been lovin progressive trance, techno, house for years and only sorry I never took to the mixing sooner.

So are there many sessions in Tramore? Down to the Vic eh?

i'm the same myself, been listening to techno, house and prog since i was 19, but could only afford decks when i left college and got a proper job at the start of 2005 when i was 25. just wish i could've started earlier when i would have had more time to practice. love it though, great feeling playing the decks.

i'll probably get another CDJ soon, as it's a pain having loads of deadly tunes on cd and not been able to mix them into each other - have to mix cd to record to cd etc.

i haven't been in the Vic in a few years, i hardly ever go out to the pubs actually. i'm more of a house sessions man these days, much cheaper and ye can listen to the tunes all night long

oh but i'm heading over to I Love Techno in November, which will be my 3rd time over there, can't wait, proper hard techno from 7pm till 7am :cool:

sweet, was in Hamburg a few weeks ago, again clubbing til 8am...we are in the wrong country definitely.
yeah, house parties are probably good to check out other DJs and try your skills yourself. must find a few (skills & house parties!).

Mix I threw together in lieu of an iPod playlist - more a compilation with proper transitions than a mix but so be it (also on proper hosting - feck rapidshare and the likes

). For want of a better genre I suppose you'd call it tech-house or something.
