    next week i might try out an idea thats been in my head for a while now.

    Instagib CSS!

    anyone who's ever played UT knows what instagib is, my plan is:

    -to use mani-admin to restrict every weapon but awp.
    -turn on deathbeam, which resembles the laser that happens when you shoot in UT on instagib.
    -install DM as well to stop people getting bored between rounds.

    What yis think?

    yeah, itll be wednesday before i get time to do it though.

    not sure about how well mani-admin will cope without steam id's though

    Im a new student in ITCarlow (and also new to boards) and singed up for compsoc on clubs and societies day and was at the first meeting where we were trown out but forget to ask when the next one was on. can anyone help?

    Its probably on tonight at 5 couldnt tell you where though, but if you wander about the LRC and look for the room filled with sweaty gamers you wont be far off the mark.

    Its on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 5pm in A210/211...assuming they havent changed it.

    A210 i think is disused: always check A211 first.

    yeah 210 is only used if 211 is full

    That just happens to coincide exactly with the only other club I signed up for. How long is compsoc on for? Maybe I could get the end of it.

    Its on from 5pm till we're (technically should be 'they are', as i'm not a member anymore) kicked out. Usually dies down around 8-9 though.

    a210 5pm-9pm offically on a monday and wednesday night. but usually play until kicked out or close up about 9:30 so the caretakers can lock up. gotta be nice

    give it to me, and i will put it up on the server. btw i tested that new version of cs and it works beautifully at about 32fps average no lag or nothing. its on the server for tonight in the fps folder under cs-source.....etc

    nice one, could you stick this on the drive as well? its an fps config for css. 32 fps aint good enough :(
