It's blue. lost my green one from this year a couple of weeks back and asked a girl in the records office when getting my new one.

That was a rough year alright for the aul slaggings from non-trinity folk alright.

The amount of mileage you could get out of the "playing the orange card" joke that year was fantastic. That and any potato requests("pass the potatoes"/"can I have a crisp") is to be answered with "give it 800 years".

    Neon blue,awesome.
Really wasn't feeling the green or pink last 2 years!

Orange is just a distant memory, and thankfully. Eeeep, I'm showing my age now..

It was silver in 2001/2002, looked pretty cool.

Oh God I really want an orange one now, I could wind my friends up so much. There should be a copy of the Ulster Covenant on the back aswell, which we should sign in blood. :D

Funnily enough there was an orange one about 3 years ago!

    No red, yellow, purple, white?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,764 ✭✭✭shay_562

If I remember Ms. Hargaden's card correctly, white is the colour for staff cards. And purple's probably too dark when all the text is black. Not sure about the others though...

As for this year's, blue sounds good to me. Better than greeny-grey, definitely better than pink.

All staff cards are white, yeah. I should be reregistering tomorrow, and I'll share my colour thoughts then.

Personally I'll be happy with any colour, I can't imagine anything worse than those two abortions that were thrust upon us during my time at the university so far...half cooked salmon or half dried snot. Who the hell is in charge of choosing colours?

Those slaggings are so easily deflected by saying something along the lines of "yeah, but I go to Trinity and can get a decent job without trying. Fwaahaa!"

Bes to do this while wearing a top hat and monocle. Or perhaps an orange sash.

Dunno about that now. One lad in particular who gave me a bit of grief just bought a decently sized apartment (including a "room for the kids" ) and is close to running his own sparky business. Top it off he's younger than me.

Whatever. You can't put a discrete value on education, especially the sort you get whilst fully immersed in a college environment. I know two guys earning €60,000 a year, who are also younger than I am, and they boast about it like they're the Marcia-fucking-Bradys of suburban Meath, but you know what? They're both smallminded and shit-dumb and their jobs suck ass. So fuck them, and fuck anyone who gives you **** for staying in college and doing what you love. I don't intend to rub my degree in anyone's face, and I do not take kindly to people who crassly rub their income in mine.
