Hi My Client has a Euro Bank Account but sells in Euro and Sterling. The CC's are manually processed. So when a sterling order comes through they calculate the Euro equivalent on the daily rate and process the payment. Hi

My Client has a Euro Bank Account but sells in Euro and Sterling.
The CC's are manually processed.

So when a sterling order comes through they calculate the Euro equivalent on the daily rate and process the payment.

This can cause trouble as Often a different Value shows up on the Sterling CC because of variations in the Exchange rate.

How is such problem overcome short of getting a sterling bank account.

One solution maybe to process Sterling through a payment gateway....

Advice on a solution please....

Sterling bank account and sterling gateway are the only real solution.

Or stop advertisng prices in sterling have euro as main currency and offer "approximate sterling equivalents" like what amazon.co.uk does (only they have sterling main currency and approx euro equivalent)
