Adobe Illustartor - file size

    Hi
    I need help on this:
    I've made an A4 add in AI and importet some high quality images in to the file but now the final AI and PDF are over 50mb!
    I need to send it to printers but i don't belive this is the good idead at the moment.

    What can i do to reduce the size of the file without loosing on quality??

    print/save it as postscript & run it through distiller

    The PDF shouldnt be that big if you use the High Quality Print setting..
