Describe "NOTHING"

well in theory, nothing, has always been defined as 0. however if you think of 0, it's the number between -1 and 1. so it has a value, therefore what we define 'nothing' as, is absolutly no value.. its relativly impossible if you think about it that way..

however, to quote wikipedia.

Nothing is commonly understood as the lack or absence of anything at all. Colloquially, the term is often used to indicate the lack of anything relevant or significant, or to describe a particularly unimpressive thing, event, or object.

nothing is the acceptable non-answer to "what's going one?"
too bad no such non-answer exist for "How's it going?"
