Microsoft Multiple Choice

    When doing Microsoft Multiple choice exams, there are some questions where there is more than one correct answer.

    Say the correct answer is A and B, and a candidtae was to answer just A, are any marks granted to the candidate for being half right or is the question marked incorrect?

    Depends on the exam

    Some are weighted.. as in

    Say the possible answers as A,B,C,D,E

    Correct answers A,C

    But answer A is definately required and if its not selected it shows that the user may not know the answer. So it can/may be weighted higher than 50% of the marks

    If there are 2 answers you get marks for selecting either or both. Just some may have a higher weighting or recieve more of the marks for the overall marks in the final answer

    Interesting.

    I thought that it was black and white, you either got the full answer correct or not at all.

    It would be nice to see a definite answer to this
