Medal of Honour problems with installing

    lads i got Medal of Honour - Airbourne Assult

    and it wont even install for me in my new gaming rig

    i put the disk in and off goes my monitor

    i think it restarts

    no other problem with any other game

    is it the disk

    i copy everything on the medal of honour disk in a folder on my desktop but still it shuts off the monitor

    whats up

    got a another copy of medal of honour but still the same problem

    and gamestop wont give me a refund

    Sounds like a very strange problem...
    so the monitor just switches off for a few seconds?

    are you using the most recent drivers etc?

    ya switches for a few seconds

    and im sure iv the current drivers for my graphic card geforce 8800 gts

    It took an unreasonable long time (like 25 minutes) to install for me. But once it did everything was grand.

    using a legit disc? Some people saying it does the same as the "version" they have is corrupt.

    I gave me an error on the Ageia driver at the very start of the install but the game installed fine after that.

    Try enabling windows firewall and re-run install! Was reading people having the same probs over on EA boards ;)

    my windows firewall is always enabled and the game is legit

    heres the specs of my pc
    Windows XP

    intel core 2 duo 2.33 gigahertz Intel Pentium III

    ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5K

    NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 320mb

    2bg ram

    Long shot but try changing the refresh rate on your monitor.

    I got the game going lads

    i did this

    By clicking on the easetup.exe I got the screen that lets you enter your code, I did this and the game installed, no rollback either.


    class game too

    graphics are brilliant
