3D-Analyze tool for emulation- anyone use it ?

Hi, I got Cossacks 2 recently & it won't fire up at all, googling around it looks like the Intel card on my box won't support it as its a TnL game (what that ???). Anyway, the above tool was recommended to emulate the TnL magic... anyone know anything about it ? Its on an Italian site - 3dfxzone.it I'd like to get some…

TNL = hardware texture and lighting as far as I can remember
Onboard Intel cards are mostly utter crap and emulate this in software.

I used it without any problems years ago on my dads pc, but soon bit the bullet and got a pci graphics card that was capable of doing a proper job of it without making the games look like poo...
