email sent to wrong address

    Hi.
I tried to send an email from my pop Gmail account in Outlook Express to my sister's Yahoo account today.
However the mail i sent came back to my own account on a subsequent send/receive.

No failure notice just the original email.
    Is this common.

My sister's yahoo email address is quite similar to my gmail address-
Would this have anything to do with it.

I am concerned specifically about any emails i send/receive going to the wrong (but similar) address.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.
(Feel free to move my post if deemed not security-related enough btw).

It's fine -- same thing happens me when I send using gmail's webmail and then check using an email client. There's probably a setting you can change on the gmail site. I just drag and drop into my sent folder.

I suppose you could set up a rule to do this -- if the sender is you [your gmail address], move to a specified folder.
