    Mine's kind of a misunderstanding. When initially signing up, I thought this fella would make a really good avatar(or set of them, depending on the mood of the post). So I signed up with the name, not realising until after that you can't actually use your own avatar ( I'd seen a wide enough variety on boards that I'd assumed people were making and uploading their own). So I took Shockers here, just because he was a really great character in the TFUK comics.

    When I joined boards I happened to be reading the classic novel 'Cranford' by Elizabeth Gaskell. There was a character in it called Miss Matty. I thought it was unusual enough to be useful et voila :)

    Just googled it there now apparently there's a famous horse with the same name :D

    I am just a benefits scammer. I actually killed the real JSB around 3 years ago as he was just some bum who collected alot of social welfare cheques and since then I have been collecting the cheques, however to pretend that he is still alive I post under his username

    I signed up to ask a question on the instruments for sale board and used my college username because i used that for everything. Then i got a very boring job the next summer and started reading boards, then started posting. Too late to go back now and change the worst username ever because i'll lose my marvelous 200 odd posts and my join date. How sad.

    You can change your username. You'll have to become a subscriber but it can be done.
