Anyone else trying out the steam community beta?

Sort of brings xbox live elements to steam, seems pretty cool.

Its possible to set up groups in it which keeps track of what everyone in that group are playing, arrange games, leave messages etc, so maybe someone could do up a boards.ie group.

Also its now possible to link any game to your steam interface and it will tell anyone what your playing etc.

But be warned its a beta and it doesnt seem to like Battlefield 2 cause mine keeps crashing everytime.

Looks like Steam is improving in a big way to challange windows live (though that doesnt take much at the moment.)
