I am sending a bulk e-mail out at the moment to about 1000 customers, if i just use the bcc field, will they get jammed up in every spam filtering going?

Best would be to use a mail list management tool (something like ezmlm or mailman, etc). Any host should include such tools as standard.

Create a group. Give it a snappy name. Add all the intended to it. Send the mail to the group. That way nobody will see who else is on the list.

Server-side there are loads of options depending on your setup.

Alternatively you could use something like Groupmail from Infacta
