Yeah should be fine, you could use either a simple scart adapter or the composite connection. Firmware on the site looks only a few months old and what I've read it work well.

Did you receive an order confimation email yet? did your order go through alright?

I sent them an email last night but no response yet, took a few days to sort out the last mix up with them.

I got the "Your order email" the status on the website says it is still in progress. So I reckon it went through OK. Now that I see the Kiss player i dont know anymore which i wud prefer? There both brillant

The new Kiss one doesn't have a hard drive, does it?
    Looks like it's streaming only.

Althuogh it does have a HDMI connection, as opposed to the DVI on the other one, damn it.

Freecom Network MediaPlayer 350 WLAN 500GB Reviewed at trustedreviews.com:

    http://www.trustedreviews.com/networking/review/2007/07/12/Freecom-Network-MediaPlayer-350-WLAN-500GB/p1

Overall 6/10: ...there's no getting past the issues with video playback performance, weak audio file support and poor music playback interface. It may be full of features, but its performance isn't good enough to warrant any kind of recommendation, even if you are a big fan of convergence.

To anyone thinking of buying one of these, you might be better off waiting for a few months until the Sigma 863x-based players arrive with high-bitrate H264 + MKV support. They'll be quite a bit more than 199 euro, though!
