Sing classes for beginner

Hi all, I haven't a note in my head and have never done anything remotely muscical in my life. Is there anywhere to go with a view to trying to pick up a few songs for parties etc. Its something I would like to try but without my friends or family knowledge!

I saw posters a while back for a place that was helping people find their party pieces but I couldn't find it when I searched online?

check the noticeboard in filmbase on curved street in temple bar.
saw adverts for singing lessons there.
