are u getting an error meassage or folder symbol on your ipod?
do u know if it's a harddrive issue, if there's audible clicking when it's connected to your pc?
i had a similar problem last week, kept getting corruption messages, restored etc but still nothing worked,
but unlike you mine seemed to happen coz i dropped it, so as silly as it sounds i 'fixed' it by putting in its ipod sock and dropping it reasonably hard from about 5 foot on my tiled bathroom floor, has worked perfect since,
but if u recon yours isnt harddrive related this probably wont work
