Chief Bridesmaid speech (filling in for bride's fathers)

The girlfriend is Chief Bridesmaid for her sister’s wedding and has to fill in and do the bride’s fathers speech.
She in a panic about doing it and what to say, she’s know she has to thank everyone for coming and the
people that helped but is there anything else she should say.

Any suggestion or help would be great.

Google for "father of the bride speech". Not all of it will be applicable obviously, but you should get a good idea of what should be said.

Normally, there's a few stories about the bride, and then welcoming the groom to the family (although don't know if the latter is really appropriate in this case).
