Remote comms setup - Automatically switching to ISDN

    We have a DSL router at each remote site to VPN into our main network.

    We also have a cisco router which all remote network traffic must go out before reaching the DSL router and going out over the VPN. This cisco router also has an ISDN connection.

    All the routes on the cisco 800 are static and point to the DSL router. When the dsl goes down we must wait for a support call from the remote site before we even realize something is wrong as our DSL router is basic and has no log and email to us facility.

    So when we find out the DSL is down we then have to ssh into the cisco and change all the routes to go out through ISDN.

    An ideal solution would be a DSL router which can let us know when its down and the cisco to be able to detect when it goes down and automatically change the routes to go out over ISDN and of course to detect when DSL is back up and to revert the routes back.

    Any recommendations on what hardware we should use?
