    Hi,

Quick question want to upgrade my Dell E520.

With either Nvidia 7600 GT or 7900GS.

Both will run on the system even though the PSU is only 305w.

The 7600 justs slots in but the 7900GS needs an extra power cable.

Is the jump in graphics's from 7600GT to 7900GS dramatic?

And has anyone had problems installing a 7900GS.

Don't know if the 8 series will work fit.

    Thanks in advanced.

There is quite a large jump in gaming performance in the two cards. At low resolutions of 1024*768 with medium details the 7600gt will be fine. The 7900gs will be fine for higher resolutions with much higher ingame details. For the small price difference between the to cards, you would be better off with the 7900gs.
