sky+ box won't turn on

    i turned off my sky+ last night to save the harddrive and when i woke up this morning i could switch it back on.i tried pluging it out,but no luck just the red light,any ideas whats up.thanks in advance

    Might be sky anytime being updated to your box. Mine stuck at about 6.30 this morning for awhile.

    rang,them three times,told me to force a system download, which i did,but it did no good.they said they will send out a engineer on thursday to have a look.hopefully it fixs itself before then as the footie is on tonight.won't hold my breath though.

    My box just went off there, too, and I can't turn it back on. I'm guessing it's updating it.

    How long will it take, though. I want to see the Champions League game GODDAMMIT! :mad:

    Nevermind, it's back on again. :D There's nothing in the Anytime menu, though. It says to check back in a few hours. Ho hum.

    You got the update then. It can take a few hours and programming will gradually appear.
