What an ass I am. Not sure how this happened but my reference to receiving the unit and my review refers to the 320GB Freecom Media Player. Sincere apologies to anyone who thought I had received the Commodore Media Player and you were wondering why you had not. Someone is our office is waiting on his Commodore Media Player as well and it has not arrived.

Recieved a parcel to my house at 8.10 this morning from the Netherlands. Delivered by an An Post van, and it had to be signed for. Didnt order anything else online, so that must be it

Well that shows that at least they were sent out recently, be sure to get a mini review up (of right product this time

) when ye can as wont get a chance to use mine till i get home (which wont be for a couple weeks

got my commodore PMP this morning from an Post...
first impressions are very good nice size. great sound of the tracks that are already on it and the video quality of the preloaded stuff is great. nice menu and interface. The buttons on it a little hard to press but could be cos its new.
all the cables are included in the box and also an irish/uk adapter for the charger
very pleased with this so far so heres a few pics (there from my phone so quality isn't good)

Thanks for the pictures it looks good and I like the Commodore logo brings back some memories of the 64. So An Post is doing the deliveries?

Damn, received my credit card bill today and have a charge for 112.45 on the 29th. Problem is after signing up and ordering the PMP I never received any email confirmation of the order, the website doesn't show any items under "Your Orders". I had assumed the order just didn't go through, but now I see I've been charged and despite that I've no record of the order from an email or the site.

Have written to customer services to see what the story is, hopefully they'll sort it out. Looking back to january I see some people have had similar problems in the past with orders not going through.

ok all isnt rosey with xvids. some work, others have no sound and others dont work at all and hang the device.

noticed that myself: prison break xvid will not play but sopranos xvid will. I haven't looked for the difference's between the files but i presume it different versions of xvid that will or won't play....
if you google you can find a convertor for changing the xvid files to divx or whatever you need just a pain having to convert!!
