problem with graphics card....for 3rd time...

    Ok in not a happy bunny...

    i got a fujitsu siemens laptop a year ago last november.
    it has an
    !!ati radeon x700 dedicated graphics card!!

    everpooyting was grand till september when i got all sorts of lines down my screen and it turned out my graphics card had failed.
    ok that was grand... it was under warranty and i got it repaired for free..(card was replaced)...then the same thing happened in november just after my warranty expired... i got the card replaced for 90 euro so i didnt complain...

    Now it has happened again and im pissed!!
    i was wondering if anyone elas has had these problems with a graphics card or with a problem in the laptop bthat might cause the graphics card to fail like this...

    That is a pretty bad run of luck :(

    Maybe heat build up or something wrong with the thermals in the laptop that's my only guess.

    Try booting into last known good config through F8 at startup and see if the screen corruption is till present.
