    I've two problems,

    1. I'm trying to paste a .jpg image into another and when I do it changes all the colours.

    2. Is there any way to shrink a image without lt becoming "blocky"? Edit: Sorted

    Thanks Guys

#1 - sounds like your colour settings for the image you're pasting INTO are lower than the image you are pasting.

I'm not sure where the setting is in GIMP, but what you probably need to do is find a way to change from INDEXED (or whatever else it's set to) to RGB colour. Have a look around in the menus.
