How to join two pieces of wax?

I have a broken wax model I want to stick back together. How do you stick wax pieces together? Can you just gently warm them and they will stick together again? Or will they melt too soon? Is there any glue you could use? Or a mixture of glue and gentle heat to melt it back together once pieces are glued in place?

    Thanks!

I would try heating each half of the wax with a match or lighter or a heat gun (if you have one). Keep the heat moving around until it is runny then quickly attach them. You may need someone to heat one half, while you heat the other....

They should fuse together fine but the joint maybe noticable, if you heat this lightly, you will be able to blend it with your fingers.

    good luck with it......:)

Thanks! We actually did it last night by making up some more wax and dipping the edges in and quickly joining them. Seemed to work ok but it does leave a mark. The marks ended up looking pretty cool so that was ok!
