Can you SLi two different cards?

Hi, I was just curious, my new computer will be arriving soon and I have 3 monitors, I dont want to destroy the performance of the 8800GTS, so I was just wondering if it was possible to SLi: A geforce 6800 and an 8800GTS? Thanks, -Steven
