paint laptop

    Hi im not sure if this is the correct place to post this but im looking for someone to paint a couple of laptops for me
    i will disassemble them so all there is is 3 peices of plastic to paint with 1 color , will need to be a professional looking finish

    If you've disassembled them already it should be easy after that. Clean it, sand it down, primer, then aerosol paint for plastics. Main thing is to use several light coats.

    how many coats do i need and do i need special plastic paints or ordinary car paint ?

    Reading this, ignore my sanding comment. :) Spray paint for plastic should be easy to come by, try hardware store or maybe halfords for some mad colours (seen some flip colours there)

    1. sanding with 600 - 800 grid sand paper
    2. de-greasing
    3. respray with "soft plastic" primer, I've got Glasurit 934-0 clear handy
    4. respray with whatever colour you wish
    5. metallics and some other coluiors might need to be clearcoated
    6. enjoy
