    Hi Folks,
I'm guessing that this isn't exactly an arts and craft question - but anyways - does anyone here know of a good place to get mugs printed on in Dublin city centre?
(I've got a couple of little images I'd like on a coffee cup or two :) )
    cheers!
    Rob.

http://ie.pixaco.com <- I used this place recently, took about 2 weeks or so to deliver but the prices are great.

Theres a place in Jervis centre that does it aswell but its €25 a mug.

    Hi there,
cheers for the tips, I'll head over to Jervis tomorrow and check them out - did you have to keep your picture to a particular size when you were ready to get it printed, or did they resize it for you on the spot? (and how did you transport it to them in the end - usb key/CD)
It's pretty tricky to get an idea as to how good the resolution on the mug'll be, how did yours turn out?
anywho, I'll try and scrounge some tips from them and see how it goes.
    thanks!
    Rob.

Spectra will do them and deliver them to a Spectra outlet of your choosing.

    €10.99 a mug.

I got some done for my nieces before Christmas 2005. They turned out fine, but the transfers are quite delicate in the wash and almost all are now missing bits and pieces of their colour.

In the end I went for the easy option - just hopped on the luas and went into Jervis. It's 20 Euro if the attendant doesn't have to do anything, 25 if they must make modifications.

The Mug came out ok, took about 40mins, which was pretty quick.

I think in the end it comes down to the quality of the images you use - I had taken images from the web, and while they looked great on a monitor, the print out wasn't nearly as defined - oh well, live and learn!
