It depends on the priest who is marrying you. My wife was told every parish she lived in but the first parish she went to thought it was a stupid idea and wrote a stinky letter back to the main priest to tell him to cop on. In the end all she needed was her home parish.

I had to get one from every Parish.

Its easy enough simply look up the Parishs one the net you lived in for over 6 months and send them a polite email stating your name age etc.

You should have them all in a month.

    Best of luck

what happens if you've lived abroad? I've just done a quick tot up in my head and in the last 10 years I've lived in 10 different parish's and 4 different countries!

We just met the Priest over the weekend to kick off the organisations!
He said just get one from the parish I am in at the moment, and he'll do the rest (He is in my Parent's parish).
I suppose it depends on the Priest, but I would question getting one from EVERY parish.

You can also get a letter from a Commissioner for Oaths.

also - if you are getting married in a church, this might be helpful
