The lecturers personal develpoment meetings and crap is on the week the 5th of March which there`ll be no classes. Is this not also our mid-term? We`re not off again on the 28th are we? Whens Easter this year, will we be off then too?

This is the thing that really really really really really piss-es me off about this college,,, nobody tells you anything. If you ask a lecturer or someone in the office whats happening they tell you 1 thing and someone else tells you another. The timetable in the little handbook you get at the start of the year is complete shhit. Its impossible to plan anything with the joke of a timetable and constant changes.

i agree, it was very poor this year, lasts years week was much better organised with much more stuff on during the week, pro evo tournaments, hypnotist, a male comedian (no offence but women comedians just arent funny) and it was much better organised with posters stating what was on, what time and where.

Apparently Maeve Higgins was a last minute addition (hence the crap photocopied posters advertising her) because the real comedian had to pull out. I saw her perform in a pub last year. Waste of €8. Someone should tell her it is a comedian's job to tell jokes.

was thinking of goin for vice president myself but i assume you have to be popular to have a starting chance at getting enough votes??

yeh we have a poster from rag week last year and we were just looking at it there the other, so much better.

do you know how the vice presidency works mart?
as in do you need to be in a certain year or anything like that to apply?

as far as I know you don't NEED to be in a certain year, like a first year could run, but the chances of winning would be well against you. The best year to apply (IMO anyway) is third year, because I don't think you can go for it if you're in your final year
