which ram config would you use

    got 512mb 400mhz ddr in my xp mediacenter (3ghz HT, RAID0, fx5200)

    i also have 512mb 333mhz ddr (its for sale at the moment, see link i sig)

    if i put the 333 in my mediacenter i will have 1gb but it will run @ 320mhz

    so
    512mb @400mhz
    vs
    1gb @320mhz

    The access rate is 20% slower but for 100% more RAM, definitely more is better.

    Any particular reason why it cant be run at 333Mhz?

    not a clue, maybe someone else here can explain why some asus boards run 333 @320, its mentioned in the manual but no reason


    going to snip the 2 x256 333mhz sticks from my advert now
