I used to be able to login on two pcs at work - so a work colleague could have internet access if he wanted it. The co. seem to have closed this down. Is there any way round?

    Hi

Yes, speak to whoever implements your IT policies and ask them about it - or, more specifically, if your colleague wants Internet access get him to request it. It's not your place to give Internet access to colleagues who don't have it. Particularly if your employers have implemented or changed policies to prevent it.

IT Policies are there for a reason - to protect the company, its assets and its employees. Trying to circumvent them is a quick way to find yourself looking for a new job.

Sorry if my reply sounds harsh but that's the reality of the situation.

    Regards,

    Liam
