Build up in the Gulf

Anyone following this, there appears tobe a bigger then normal build up of US forces in the Gulf(or on way to), 2 or 3 carrier groups. Normal? or trying to intimidate Iran?

Propping up a withdrawal maybe and one last ditch effort to show that military intervention was right for Iraq

Yeah it's been suggested by the Americans that putting in more troops temporarily to aid withdrawl would be a good idea.
