I haven't tried the anime. But i Have watched the film and thought it was a blast. I am looking for some place to get the anime cheap tho.

Yeah it's good fun.
A lot of people dislike it though. The animation is a bit suspect at times.
Project D was quite interesting.

i take it at face value.. some ppl watch it for de cars, but if you follow the story it wil be alot more interesting

Initial D rules,the film is top class,but the anime is quality.

The entire series is very dumb but none the less hugely enjoyable.
Spent much of my study time for the leaving cert watching 1st & 2nd Stage. No wonder I had to repeat a few years later.

Pity we probably won't see another TV series for a couple of years given the pace Shigeno writes at.

Not seen the live action film yet.
