Pabo.com - BEWARE!

    Advantages NONE
    Disadvantages non-delivery of items, threatening letters, completely disorganised company.


    In June I ordered a dress from pabo.com and put my credit card details in. My card was never charged and the dress was never sent. I emailed them to ask whats going on but they never replied. OVER 6 MONTHS LATER I get a very rude letter from pabo, demanding that I pay up immediately, plus a £15 late charge, or they will get debt collectors onto me!
    I wrote them back saying I never received the dress! They checked with royal mail but since the item was not sent recorded, there was no trace of it. Now pabo say if I don't pay they will still get the debt collectors onto me and smear my credit rating. Their letters are very threatening, I think I will have to pay even though I didn't get the dress. I have had sleepness nights over this. For god's sake BEWARE OF PABO! DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!

    Summary: AVOID!

    Call the police and bring your letter. I believe that that is harassment;)

    they haven't a leg to stand on and have no access to your credit rating tell em to shag off.

    Contact www.consumerconnect.ie they'll give you some advice.

    Looking at the site I'm wondering just what kind of dress that was! :)

    Having looked at the catalogue I suppose it depends on what your definition of a normal evening dress is:D
