sms when new emails on o2?

    You would need to set up a script on a cron job maybe ever 5 mins to check for new email and if there are since last check send sms. Shouldn't be too difficult.

    I was thinking more about piping emails directly into a script Webmonkey .. but whatever :D

    You mean do a forward on all mail to go through a script and then back again or something? I am bit confused :)

    I was thinking mix it in with the gateway MT/AFT gateway. **** knows what I'm talking about, I need a drink .. .

    They used to have an SMS email service. Did they get rid of that?

    I used to use "Email Alerts" from O2. Is that no longer available? I now use i-mail, which is much superior in that it is true push email, just like the blackberry!

    yeah that i-mail thingy is nice, like having cheap blackberry. and receiving mails are free too. i must sort out spams issue on my main e-mail account, so much less "false alert" being forwarded to i-mail inbox. damn spammers.
