    What sillyness. Maybe if somebody has a stall set up and is selling music stored off some device it makes sense, but sounds more more like anybody could be fines for using an ipod type device. I like the way they use ipod btw instead of mp3 player, that'll be great for ipod sales

    What's more, under "strict liability provisions", you can be hit with a $6,600 fine or ticketed by police on the spot to the tune of $1320 simply for possessing infringing material, even if you didn't know you were violating copyright.

    How will the police know you are violating copyrights? I must say this proposal is nothing short of retarded.
