Design my own INK stamp?

    Hey folks,

    What I wanna be able to do is:

    1. Find a picture or word or something that I like
    2. Get its silouhette(sp = bad!) or outline put onto a stamp, which is then pressed onto an ink pad
    3. Press the stamp onto things, leaving its silouhette on the thing

    Now, does anyone know where I might find this sort of "kit", or alternatively, a way to make my own? :)

    Get a spud, a knife, a pot of ink, and a lot of patience :)

    would it be a lino print your thinking off where you cut out all the wood type chippings and you use carbon paper to superimpose the design onto the wood? (thanks Karoma :))

    Theres a place on capel street that'll do it for you if you bring in the design on paper simplified don to how you want it to appear or you can e-mail it to them. I think its about 30 quid for a decent sized one.
