Update list for Symantec AV corp ed is corrupt

    I'm using Symantec Antivirus Corporate edition and whenever I go to update, this comes up.

    The following updates have been aborted:
    > LiveUpdate has 1 aborted update(s).
    Reason:
    LU1847: LiveUpdate could not determine if there is an update for this product because the update list for this product is corrupted.

    This can happen and I'd still get an update anyway other times it'll just say this at the bottom.

    All of the Symantec products installed on your computer are currently up-to-date. Remember to check for new updates frequently.
    LiveUpdate session is complete.

    Is it a problem on symantec's side or on my side that's causing the update list to be corrupt?
