Why do airsoft and paintball have to share a thread?!

likely because there seen as "similar" activities and having two seperate forums would just be a waste

They are not that similar at all...airsoft being somewhat more realistic. Plus members from both communities seem to be constantly up in arms over which is "better". Actually seen as we're talking about it, throw in a quasar forum too, thats "similar" to both isnt it?

They don't share a thread. They share a forum. Which has lots of different seperate threads.

And there's only the one forum because there wasn't enough demand for seperate forums. If demand grows, it's no big deal to split the forum. But to be honest, given that lots of fields run both airsoft and paintball, and given the similarities in the sports, and their minority status in Ireland, it makes little sense right now to seperate them.

Dont get quasar thrown in here too! We'll just have to live with paintball being here.
