Anyone know of a decent pub in Dundalk that does a decent bit of food in the evening... steak sandwiches sort of thing??

Tried the Imperial's bar but it's not great. Small food, big prices! :(

As a student in Dundalk I never had any complaints about the Malt House. Nice food, and more than enough to fill you. :)

    'The Jockeys'
Oh and don't forget the Bowling alley, if it's not too far out of the way for ya. Great food and very very cheap.

It is on the Dublin road just before you come to the hospital heading out of the town... Spent many a good day eating (and drinking) in there!

Another vote for the Jockeys. You'll get a full plate of good food there for a reasonable price.
