F1 1979 rfactor mod,fantastic!

    1979,back when F1 was F1.
    This really is superb stuff,by far the best fun ive had with rfactor.
    Mod demo comes with 4 cars and 2 tracks,Monaco79 and Kyalami79 but works great with all other default and addon circuits.
    Definitely my favourite rfactor mod so far.
    The sounds cranked up will send a shiver down your spine not to mention the racing :)

    I agree D, excellent mod, my favorite so far. Even with all the helpers off (abb,traction etc, the way it should be:D ) it's drivable, even for me, still can't get fastest at kylami though.On a side note any tips for setting up these cars properly.I cant understand how some guys can get a 108 around kylami and I can only manage a 111 and at that I'm on the limit. It can't be just bad driving on my part,I've watched other guys online doing laps and I use the same line, I can make the car go faster but lose grip.Does tyre pressure and all that niggly stuff that i dont touch (because I haven't a clue) add to a great lap time?

    In all my 7 or 8 years of sim racing i have never made my own setups dubtom :)
    I usually tweak the defaults or tweak some available on the web.
    As for kyalami,i too amvery slow there.
    I was the same with GPL,those off camber high speed corners really make me struggle.

    Found a setup on RFC for a williams at kylami, trouble is I don't know where to put in the game. There doesn't seem to be a way of getting from a saved file somewhere on my pc, desktop for example, and I can't find the file in the game where they are stored,any idea's.

    Extract or just click and drag into
    H:\Program Files\rFactor\UserData\whatever your name is\Settings

    The default folder is C ,i have mine on H,yours might be on C drive.
