    Hold on, where's my violin?

Happens to everybody and like every other hardship in life the only thing you can do is just to learn to deal with it.

Yes, it happened to me once, a long time ago and then I was the person who did the heart-breaking another time so I know what it's like form both sides. Not easy.

Wish I was more of a b*stard at times, that way I could break a heart and then ask if a final roide was out of the question :D

    But I'm not :(

Feck the heart break. Just go out and have one night stands or meet up with someone and give em a call every so often for a bit a fun. Sick a seein my friends fightin with their gf's every wknd and actin like married couples. Can't go places cause the woman won't let em, can't so much as have a drink without em. It's all a load a rubbish, no point going out with someone when your young and acting like your already married. Have a laugh and wait till your older before settling down with someone. I gave up on the going out with somone bull few years ago and am having a great time ever since!!:D

God I dunno if I agree.

In a way, maybe this is true, but I think,in a lot of ways, getting my heart broken took away a lot of the things I used to like about myself.

However,I do think that there is some beauty in the whole thing. IMO,when a person is born, they are like an untouched ball of clay. Each hardship they encounter moulds them into a different shape and can chip away parts of them. But then in the end, there is something a lot more beautiful and interesting to look at.

So,as much as I have been hurt in the past, and will be hurt in the future,I know that it will all contribute to shaping and moulding me into a unique person.

    So....anyway..... :o

I know what you mean some of my experince have sometimes left me with a men are bastards attitude but I was thinking i way too young to have such a pessimistic attitude towards towards love and men and the rest!

postive attitude is the way to go!
but for now i'll be single I still need a break from the drama:p

How lovely put. I think your absolutaly right in everything you have said. I do agree that there is a sense that when your get heartbroken, confidence and opinions you may have had of yourself are knocked for six, but then again i do believe that you will regain those comforts and opinions of yourself over time. Its not the nicest, but things happen for a reason, its only over time when you find out the real reasons.

Yeah, I've had my heartbroken. I think everyone has, as some have said. You have a good cry (or two), learn from your mistakes, pick yourself and move on to the next.

"gray would be the colour if I had a heart!"

    ...anyone?

    NIN Zulu?

Everyone's been heartbroken at some stage. It's a pretty dumb question in fairness CSG.

And to those whining about heartbreak: get out your lego, build a bridge and get over it.

In all fairness everyone that's been in more than one relationship has been heartbroken. Maybe not in the case where someone's in a relationship with their first love, but then again it's rare for these relationships to last too long.

It is the nature of love that it always ends in heartbreak, whether through rejection, breaking up or the death of the one you love, but then if being in love wasn't leaving yourself open to such would the words "I love you" be such a meaningful thing?
