Radical Invention

    Hello.

Last night whilst sitting on my 4th floor window, staring at the moon i came up with the following impracticle idea:

    MOON CLOCK

Oh yes. A digital moon clock. It somehow projects a time display like a watch onto itself and gets the right time for each country. So as you stare up at it you will see the digital display on the moon. It's just big enough to focus on.

People outside will simply be able to look up when out and know the time of day and perhaps it could even scroll recent news.

    What you reckon?

    Fantastic!

I propose another invention: A TIME MACHINE! It somehow takes you back in time.

Hmmm. Only the 4th floor and so obviously starved of oxygen?

Where do I sign? I'm an inventer myself. I've invented a sarcasm filter. Would you like to buy one? I think you are going to need one.

I'm sure it's crossed the minds of the lads in Maccie D's, Coke, Pepsi to do the same thing with their logo! Wouldn't put it past them..:)

Nice to see somebody using their brain for something other than thinking up sarcastic replies to threads.

Hmmm if it was cloudy we could change it from the clock and could use microwave emitting satelites to "herd" clouds into specific formations, like words. How great would it be to lay back on a nice day, staring at the sky and watching the clouds form the text of your favourite books! Reading would be so much fun, and "drawing" in the sky with clouds would be immense.

Great way of advertising too :)

Has been thought of, developed and took a court battle to stop them from doing it if memory serves me correct*

*Memory often serves me incorrect and this could have just been a dream, pulp fiction or dodgy B movie

I'd like to expand on the cloud herd idea - what if you herded all the clouds together over the house of a person you don't like or even better pin point that person by satellite, herd the clouds over them and make them rain on top of that person. Or even better - cause a thunder and lightening storm over their head:D

Perhaps we should just get rid of the ozone layer while we're at it......

Man keep research grants out of your hands, you'd be lethal......

You could tie it around your waist and if your a guy the pendulum could be tucked into the crotch making those around you think that you have a huge swinging appendage.

    What ya think?

Now i know its time to kill myself after sitting and reading this thread. the best invention ever would be a tablet that stops people coming up with silly ideas like a moon-clock.

Inventive? Yes. Desirable? No. I love the Moon the way it is, and pretty soon we will have commercials on Moon Timex.
