the worst pain that i have felt is when I was playin football, and fell and broke my ankle then tried to get up and run and put the ball in the net.

Never broken a bone or anything like so it has to be: football in the groin on Monday night. Or any time it happens. Its just so ridiculously sore.

Definitely dislocating my ankle the first time. But it's hurt less and less every time since!

I damaged my kidneys when I was 6.... Was in hospital for a week but the first day was excruciating.... Was rolling around in the bed in agony...

2nd most painful thing was a dental abscess... Followed closely by period pain...

Thankfully I'v also never broken a bone or suffered a serious illness but I'm sure there is far worse pain than the above... :o

Broke my arm before, but that was nothing next to being hospitalised with a kidney and bladder infection. It's difficult to compare pain most of the time, but I definitely think that tops my agony list regardless.

Yeah I had that for 4 months last year

You really dont worry about much else when all you want to do is pee without losing blood

I have broken my left arm and right leg. Both of them pretty horrendous, the leg probably hurt more because i tried to put weight on it a few times before going in to cast, which was unavoidable really. I once had an ingrown toenail which was excruciating before i had the operation but was actually worse for a couple of days after. It is hard to compare pain though, most people always think that the pain they are feeling for the now is the worst they have felt.

Try a kidney stone. Or 3.

Pain is so bad you literally can't even think about anything else.

    1. Childbirth
    2. A particularly vicious bout of tonsilitis I had in 1st year in college.

    Ah, the memories.

Braking my wrist playing Gaa Football, on the Saturday nite before my leaving cert, didnt know it was broken until the Tuesday, was in pain though on the Sunday and didnt sleep for a few nites
Smashed my face on the road, after my bike fell from under me, although it wasnt too painful, it was the thoughts of what I could have broken/mangled that was worse, broke me front tooth thats all.

This time last year I had a Cellulitis infection in my left leg/ankle (no not cellulite  ). Wiki it if you dunno what it is.

Woke up one morning, felt like complete sh*t, all the muscles in my body were screeming in agony. My skin became 50 times more sensitive to the point where I accidentally brushed my elbow off the door handle to the kitchen and it felt like getting a kick in the balls. IN MY ELBOW!!!!

Couldn't sleep for 3 days as there was no such thing as a comfortable position to lay in. Got rushed to AE as the infection was spreading up my leg to beyond my knee. The skin and muscle thing only lasted the first day, but my leg was fu**ed for the next 2 months. Still not quite right tbh....
There is a history of arthritis in my family. If ever I get it, that's where it'll start. Balls...

i remember getting chicken pox when i was like 12, it sucked so bad the itch was so painful.

i broke my finger before, but i had walked around all day without knowing i had broken my finger.

they are the two i can remember most.

I fell off my bike once.. grazed my knee... didn't cry or nothing!

    <-- Well hard!

(I'm probably tempting fate with that. I've been lucky in the whole pain experience thing so far)

Ive had that happen to me too. Its really sore but really cool to look at too.

Ive never broken a bone but the most painful thing I have ever experienced was when I woke up from an operation I had in which I had 2 procedures carried out. All I can say is thank god for morphine

Broke my collar bone when I was about 16. Pretty sore it itself but the worst part was when they had to set the bone. It had broken in half and overlapped on itself so they had to pull it apart. A nurse stood behind me, grabbed each shoulder, put her knee in my back and pulled. I screamed. Then they wrapped a figure 8 type sling thing around my shoulders to keep it in place.
They said that if it had gone another inch or so I would have needed an operation to set it. I wished it had.

Same, except unfortunately when I did it I split my knee open....

Other then that, I've been really lucky! Well actually I was assaulted by a complete knacker one night though in town after a night out (for no reason whatsoever, he literally tapped me on the shoulder and headbutted me me when I turned around) and I hit my face on the kerb after firstly receiving the headbutt, frankly I'm surprised that there was virtually no damage done, I got really lucky, even though it was really painful.

PS - There as a happy end to that story though resulting in multiple fists to said knackers face, so in a way I actually felt good going home thinking "Ah some scumbag got what he deserved".

    Worst pain i felt......

I had my lungs collapse on a number of occassions about 7 years ago!! I thought that was painful until I got to the hospital, got into A&E and within 2 minutes I was put on an operating table (makeshift one) and cut open before they put any pain killer into me!! Then to make it worse cos it was the first time tallaght hospital had students in to see this happen they all got 2 fingers (About 9 - 10 students) and all together lodged their fingers in the cut in my chest to poke in between my ribs!!! Man that really hurt!!

I once had an ingrown toenail which was excruciating before i had the operation but was actually worse for a couple of days after.
Same here, though I did get a week off school after the operation - was supposed to be studying for my christmas exams but I just ended up playing too many games! Luckily the only thing I remember from the operation was the doctor jamming a humungous syringe into my foot - I stopped looking after that :D

Then I started getting ingrown toenails on my other toe...

I also went over the handlebars of my BMX when I was about 7 - head first into a tarmac road of course! I was told if I was a few years older I would have broke my nose. Also my front baby teeth came out a lot quicker than most kids...

Ingown toe nails are vastly over rated, have had one pretty much constantly for about 2 and a half year nows, had 3 at one point (2 on the same toe), they arent that sore if you just ignore them and let them grow out :)

Never had a single horrable bout of pain (proke my collar bone twice in the same place on 2 different occassions but that wasnt too bad), but I got bronchitis 3 times within 5 months on each other, that was pretty damn harsh lungs simply didnt work for about a week each time, and on top of that you also feel like you have a real bad flu (just recovering from a 4th term of bronchitis a few days ago).
