Post count obession

What is with people on boards having pride in their post count? I see it regularly mentioned if someone starts a thread thats pointless, and someone will post 'post count + 1', etc. How can one be proud of being continously on boards.ie? I'm guessing the people who boast about their count very rarley make meaningful…

I'm guessing the people who boast about their count very rarley make meaningful points, rather just posting anything to increase their count.

And before anyone starts, I dont give a monkies fcuk about my count, so dont accuse me of posting this thread to 'post count + 1'. I am just curious..

people who post 'post count +1' are people without opinions otherwise they would get involved in the discussion rather than posting the usual senseless drivel.

They should replace the post count with a penis gif, it gets longer the more you post.

Eventually your penis starts disrupting the page layout.
