The sponsor get advertising space on brocheues, promotional ads, etc(not sure exactly, but can get more details). And if he gets into top 5 escorts or wins or overall best…

the brother recently got chosen to do the Rose of Tralee 2006 escort thing, but every escort must have 2000 euro in sponsorship to take part. The sponsor get advertising space on brocheues, promotional ads, etc(not sure exactly, but can get more details). And if he gets into top 5 escorts or wins or overall best escort, he gets to plug his sponsor live on TV (I've every confidence he'll go all the way!). Anyway, just putting this out there to see if anyone knows of a company,hotel, pub, whatever that would be willing to sponsor.

Sure worth a punt to throw it up here anyway, he's already done the rounds of some pubs, hotels, etc in town. Bit of time left anyway, you never know what'll crop up. For what its worth Aidan, its between the sponsor and festival organisers, he dosen't get a penny!! Cheers for the idea frobisher, could be difficult to mention 100 usernames in 30 secs, but he could give it a go!!

I can't say I've ever heard of an escorts sponsor being mentioned in the contest... not that I pay that much attention or anything.
