Spec Ops Weapon Unlocks

    I've just been promoted and I've been offered a weapon unlock. I only play with spec ops and I've no interest in unlocking a gun for any other type of player. Do I have to unlock all of the weapons for each type of unit before I can unlock more spec ops weapons?

    No...??? What do you mean.... Can you elaborate? How do I unlock the next spec ops weapon?

    What next spec-ops weapon ? There's only 1 per kit. YOu unlock the next one I guess when you have enough points to do so.

    The second spec ops un-lock is for people with the special forces exspansion.

    As in no, you don't need to unlock other classes weapons before you can unlock the spec-ops weapons.

    The tier one weapon, the G36C, is first. Then the SCAR-L is tier 2 for Special Forces owners.

    If you have a friend with BF2:SF give them your account details and get them to play the game as you for a couple rounds,they will surely get the unlock before too long.

    Next time you log on with your account on your own PC you will still have the SF unlock2 weapon even though you don't have BF2:SF ;)

    while we're at it, why is it that my spec-ops unlocks don't work? i select the second unlock, for example, and i spawn with the standard spec-ops unlock. it used to work and then one of the patches (no surprises there) seems to have ruined it.

    doesn't bother me much since i haven't been playing lately, but i wonder if it's just my end, and other enemies still see/feel the wrath of the scar-l or whatever.
